Winking Owl Chardonnay
This is a semi-dry, medium-bodied, oaked Chardonnay from California, purchased at Aldi. It has flavors of ripe apple and pear, with undertones of toasted oak and just a hint of brown spice. I had mine chilled, as an aperitif, but I think it would be excellent with grilled fish or roasted chicken.
