Lamarca Prosecco
This is a sparkling wine from Italy. I admit that I haven't had prosecco very much; I tend towards choosing a champagne, as far as sparkling wines are concerned. But I just loved this one! Nice and dry, and it made an excellent cocktail.
2016 Cakebread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc
This is a white wine from the Napa Valley in California. I have to admit that I am usually a Chardonnay girl, but I loved this wine! It is an oaked wine, a blend of Sauvignon and Semillon.
I enjoyed it as I always do, chilled as an aperitif.
2016 Sienna Glen Chardonnay
This is an oaked Chardonnay from California. It has flavors of vanilla, lemongrass, hazelnut, and clove. I enjoyed mine chilled, as an aperitif.
2015 Central Coast Callie Collection Chardonnay
This is an oaked Chardonnay from the central coast of California. It is full and rich, with flavors of ripe apple and citrus. I enjoyed it chilled, as an aperitif, as I customarily do, but I think it would be especially wonderful with grilled seafood.
